THE BUSKER OUT TO CONQUER THE WORLD: FROM LAUNCH IN U.K. TO EVENTS IN U.S.A.

The Busker’s journey to win over whiskey fans and not only knows no letting up: last September 29th the entire range of our Irish whiskey got a major market launch in the United Kingdom thanks to an exclusive event at the Homeboy Bar Embassy Gardens in London.

On the scene for the occasion was a special guest, no less than Jeff Morgenthaler, the multi award-winning American bartender who along with Royal Oak Distillery Visitor Manager Woody Kane has artfully captured The Busker’s essence, interpreting its unique, authentic character and extreme versatility, also in terms of mixology, in the finest of ways. Together with the Homeboy Bar staff, Morgenthaler presented a cocktail menu created expressly for the event, starting from a fresh twist on his famous Disaronno Sour aptly named the #Busk-It Sour. The drink is a revisitation in Irish mode of the classic amaretto sour, complete with a deliciously daring kick that makes the most of The Busker Single Malt’s distinctive flavor.

The Homeboy Bar Embassy Garden also served as the backdrop for the third Unboxing The Busker episode. This time Ireland’s own Ciarán Smith, proprietor of the Homeboy Bar, did the honors of uncovering the precious contents. Likewise, the host of the London event accompanied us on the discovery of new mixes, offering tips from his personal experience with our blend. For example, he showed us upfront how The Busker Triple Cask, Triple Smooth proves to be the perfect base for The Wanderer, a vibrant cocktail that will surely intrigue mixology explorers across the globe.

The Busker originated with an explosive international nature and a keenly innovative spirit, all to establish a unique personality for itself in the whiskey scene in every country of the world. For sure, in the United States it has already gained wide consensus through constantly increasing brand awareness. Fitting into the picture of consolidating these great results in the U.S. is The Busker’s participation in two major events held in October in New York and Las Vegas: namely, The Whiskies X. Ideal also for attracting the under 30 crowd, they are live affairs where music, entertainment and new tasting experiences merge seamlessly.
